PSYCHO CHARGER is thrilled to announce pre-orders are now available for the release of their fourth-full length effort RETURN OF THE PSYCHO!
RETURN OF THE PSYCHO comes in at a full ten songs in length, finding the band doing what has made them a fan favorite: heavy horror rock riffs, surf guitar solos, throbbing bass lines, and edgy effected vocals all rooted in an industrial punk music vibe.
RETURN OF THE PSYCHO is the band’s first release since 2014’s well-received SPAWN OF THE PSYCHO. PSYCHO CHARGER main mind JIMMY PSYCHO says, “It was a great experience writing and recording these songs. We used the downtime during the pandemic and really took our time recording this one. The songs here are a lot more stripped-down with fewer overall tracks than the last few records, they harken back to our early days as a band. If there was ever a sound I envisioned for this band when it first started, this is it.”
RETURN OF THE PSYCHO will be available in two vinyl variations: “Zombie Eye of The Bride” (White) & “Monster Smoke & Lightning” (Gray/White).
As with most PSYCHO CHARGER releases, the band likes to invite their friends in the fun, and this time around the cast of special guests include “The Sinister Minister” of professional wrestling, James Mitchell (WCW, ECW, NWA), Ghouly Gal (Toronto’s Night Chill and The Infernal Order of The Black Flame), Jeano Roid (Nashville’s Creeping Cruds), and last but not least, very special guest High Priest of The Church of Satan, Magus Peter H. Gilmore!
The artwork for RETURN OF THE PSYCHO was assembled by PSYCHO CHARGER bassist Mr. Piranha, with the final artwork being in old-school anaglyph 3-D with a pair of viewing glasses being included in the packaging.
