While the definition of mental health itself has remained constant, attitudes towards it have changed greatly over the last few decades. Mental Health Awareness has replaced stigma and misunderstanding; there is a willingness to spread awareness and information today, as opposed to seeing mental health as an issue to be kept to oneself.
