Dear Satanists:

We have finally come to some resolutions regarding the Church of Satan about which I wanted to let you know. Though there are still some loose ends, I feel ready for us to move forward. In early January, I signed an agreement with Karla LaVey and Zeena Schreck which granted me control over the organization if I gave up Xerxes' rights to his father's personal property. In doing this, I'm keeping the organization in the hands which Dr. LaVey intended. We're the most capable of keeping his philosophy clear and alive.

As you probably know, I was forced to vacate the Black House on August 22nd of last year and still haven't been informed whether the owners plan to renovate or tear it down. There have been no wrecking balls yet; on the contrary, some activity was spied on February 1st, but the workmen seemed to be either salvaging or renovating rather than bringing in the heavy machinery. Most of the money donated to save the house has been returned, though there are a few people who haven't yet received their money back. It will be returned soon.

Concerning our Grottos:

We are now in the process of evaluating the many applications for Grotto Master status, as well as requests for involvement in local grottos. Once we have completed the chartering of the new Grotto Masters, we will deal with those who have requested participation.

Ideally, the grottos need to become more involved in the outside world, having more field excursions instead of Satanic debates, whether online or in your homes. We can best express (and benefit from) Satanism by enjoying life, exploring, taking chances and going on adventures rather than debating what we "believe," or accusing others of not being "real" Satanists. Show, don't tell. Most people spend their lives avoiding life, and investing in their own pain and handicaps. We don't, and the best way to share that love of accomplishment and pride in success is to DO THINGS. We are Satanists because we want to be challenged, not "forgiven." Challenge yourself.
